****This summer Ms. Verdejo wrote a letter to all of her students. Some of them responded to her letter.
Este verano la Sra. Verdejo le escribio una carta a sus estudiantes. Algunos de ellos respondieron.....
****During the summer vacation Armando wrote a letter to Ms. Verdejo.
It goes like this:

Hi! Ms. Verdejo,
I want to thank you for remebering me. I went to the lake with my uncles and my brother and I had a good time. Another day, I went to the theater and saw the movie "The Dark Night." I also went to the Aquarium and I had a good time.
I saw the match between Mexico and Chicago when the Mexican team was visiting.

Durante la vacaciones de verano Armando tambien le escribio una cartita a Ms. Verdejo.
La carta dice asi:

Hola Ms Verdejo!,
Quiero darle las gracias por acordarse de mi. Maestra yo me fui al lago con mis tios y con mi hermano y me la pase muy bien. Otro dia fui al cine a ver la pelicula "The Dark Night." Tambien fuimos mi familia y yo al acuario y nos las pasamos bien. Cuando jugo Mexico en Chicago yo fui a ver el partido.

Yo fui a Six Flags con mi mama y mis primos. Fui a nadar con mis primos y mi mama. Tambien fue mi cumpleanos y me dieron dinero y regalos. Me diveri.

It's Groundhog Day!

Ms. V's Busy Bees had been very busy alright!
They read the story "It's Groundhog Day" by Steven Kroll.
Sixteen students predicted that it will see his shadow and eight students thought it will not see it's shadow. I guess we will have to wait and see!

Ellas leyeron el cuento en inglés "It's Grounhog Day" o El día de la marmota por Steven Kroll.
Dieciséis estudiantes predijeron que ella iba a ver su sombra y ocho pensaron que ella no iba a ver su sombra. Vamos a ver que ocurre!
Roseline estaba ausente así que no pudo votar.

Hoy nuestro director, el señor Stark, nos vino a visitar. El ayudó a Abigail a escribir oraciones acerca del cuento de Crisantemo.
